Of deadlines and timelines,
I failed to see
How I could possibly
Be closer to He.
Of markings and meetings,
I couldn't understand
How this could make me
A much better man.
Of whispers and stories,
I could not know
How much good deed
To Him I have showed.
Of anger and rage,
I could no more tell
If my heart's getting stronger
Or weaker than then.
Of missions and visions,
I could not find me.
I want to see clearly
The path I'm to seek.
Of pay checks and schedules-
of that I don't care.
As long as I have Him
And I Know that He's there.
