"Unwritten"

Have you ever read a really good book?
A book that makes you go, "MashaAllah, that was awesome!"

Imagine the process the authors go through just to get that book to be that good.
An author would draft the story,
Write a proposal,
Revise it,
Edit out any unnecessary things,
Ensure the plot is clear and comprehensible,
Get feedback from an editor,
And then, finally, await the approval of the publisher.

The one who has the final say.
Without his approval, it just won't happen.
The author would have to improvise, rewrite, re-edit.

Tiring, yes.
But it's for their own good.
So that the book would actually be enjoyed by others.
And not merely left wasted and dusty under the bed... or anywhere else for that matter. ^_^v



It's a bit like our life.
Our story.
In this world.

We are like the authors.
In charge of our lives.
We choose our path and walk towards it as how the authors walk towards their initial idea.

Then we'd have the editor.
The one who corrects us by giving us guidelines to live by.
Yes, the sunnah of Propher Muhammad s.a.w.

And then we have The One that makes it all possible.
Allah.

If He rejects our proposal, it's for our own good.
If He changes our plans, it's for our own good.
If He delays our du'a, it's for our own good.

In the end, if we follow these guidance, we won't be at loss.
Because He knows what is best for us.

Be patient.
Trust Him.
He knows. :)

When you do, inshaAllah, your book will be a good one.
One that you will be grateful for achieving in this world.
One that you will receive by your right hand in the hereafter, inshaAllah.
:)

So whatever chapter we may be in, continue the story to be the best that it possibly can be.
Make every new chapter better than the ones before.
We may not know when the ending may be.
But if we follow His guidance, the ending may just be a happy one, inshaAllah.
